A couple of weeks ago, I saw a post on Facebook from a foreign fire department who took one of their firefighters and all of his equipment and laid them out to look like a firefighter action figure.
Well, I thought that was a hilarious idea and shared it on the WFPD Facebook page with the caption, “We might have to see if any of our firefighters are game for doing this here in Warsaw!”
One of our firefighters, Kentton Harris, responded with, “Lets do it!” and the project was born!
We had some great help in the firehouse for the Firefighter Action Figure (FAF) project. Chief Rob Lane, Firefighter Ron Goodman Sr. and his son Mason, and Kentton all showed up to help lay out the gear (AND put it away when the project was complete), stage the scene, and even participate in some of the pictures (shown below).

What a great group to work with, is all I can say! They weren’t quite laughing as hard as I was, but hilarity ensued the whole time!
Can’t wait to see what Fun in the Firehouse we cook up next!
