

To complete the free online Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Independent Study Courses required for the Community Emergency Response Team, you must first obtain a FEMA Student Identification (SID) number. To do this, click here, select “Register for a FEMA SID”, and follow the instructions on the FEMA website.
Once you have secured a new FEMA SID, please take the following courses (links below are clickable) and forward the email containing your certificate to Warsaw Fire at wfpd65355@gmail.com.

IS-700.b An Introduction to the National Incident Management System

TIP: If you need to leave your computer in the middle of a lesson, don’t close the window. If you close the window, you will have to begin from the start of the lesson when you return instead of where you left off.
